Title: Old Norse Poem I Can No Longer Find: Help Me ID It, Please?
Post by: Tinevisce on January 26, 2015, 12:25:01 PM
I remember reading this beautiful old norse poem once about a son who calls on his dead mother after being antagonised by his step mother (or at least I think the step-mother part was there); and her spirit reluctantly appears and teaches him spells to help him out- her words themselves being the incantation.

Could anyone help me identify the poem? I remember finding it quite powerful, and I wanted to note it down in my BoS- but I can't seem to find it any more.

Thank you muchly!

Oh no, DS- I thought I'd replied to this already! Thank you so much, and I'm sorry for being so late with my reply. :)
