Is anyone in Indiana, and have you been to Indy Pagan Pride? I don't know anything about this, other than what I read online, and I'm iffy about in-person social-group situations as it is.

I haven't been to Indy Pagan Pride, but I have been to Dallas PP and found it interesting and helpful. From what you were saying in another thread about not knowing of any groups around you, it might be worth going to (early) to see if there are any smallish groups or bookstores or something that you're not aware of that can help fill the "social but not crowded" need.

Yeah, we have two or three pagan stores that I know of around here. I like the two that I've been to, and the folks are always friendly there when I need help with something.

I know they mentioned "workshops" on their site...and you're allowed to observe instead of participate in things there. I'll just have to see about going methinks. Thank you, again :)

I just found out that Indy Pagan Pride is in one week. I would love to go, but I don't have any way of getting there, despite how close I live. I hear there's a Druid grove that normally attends, so that would have been perfect for me to check out, but alas!

I hope you can make it and get into contact with some other Pagans who can help you. It sounds so interesting and fun! :)

Dang, GW and I were in Indy this weekend for an Autumn Equinox rite with our Kindred.  Would have been fun to check out PPD in a big city.

Our Pagan Pride Day is the oldest continuously running one in the country, and is a lot of fun. I'll be working a booth for Elemental Spirits and Indianapolis Pagan Prison Ministries.

peace,
