I went skydiving today in Florence, Colorado over the Rockies. Most beautiful, peaceful and amazingly calming thing I think I've ever done! I absolutely loved it. Words cannot describe how awesome it was and how connected to life I felt.
I'm trying to shrink my pictures to post some, but it was truly an awesome day :)

Wow, you are lot braver than I am. Glad you had such a good day, Rain! ()

I'm jealous! :D I have thought about doing that many times but never quite got the nerve up to try it. Glad you had a good time! :groovin:

that sounds amazing! glad you had fun

did it once, will never do it again.
the most nerve wracking, terrifying, and scariest thing I ever done.
I am actually scared flying on planes now as a result of it, lol...

Glad you had fun...it's something I could never do until I master this fear of heights. Hell I can't even deal with a roller coaster and I'm strapped in 9 ways from Sunday. Jumping out of an airplane...let's just say there would be a long yellow streak following me down to the ground.

I'd more likely have a brown streak following me down...

Cusiosity: Why?
I may be too chicken to ever hurl myself out of a perfectly good airplane but what is it about you having done so that makes you now afraid of airplanes?
Using me as an example, I'm afraid of roller coasters. I've been coaxed to go on a few and even though I've obviously survived the experience and *still* need a cattle prod to get me near one...it doesn't have any effect on my ability to enjoy the things that I do enjoy. Things like taking a ride on the skyway tram in Busch Gardens Williamsburg (a 4-person suspended cable car between three of the park's zones) and riding the Ferris Wheel in Kings Dominion.
So what about you surviving an experience of willingly chucking yourself out of an airplane makes you afraid of flying in one that you have no intention of doing anything more exciting than watching the in-flight movie?

cuz im afraid of heights, and like you, scared of rollercoasters. my friend just made me do it and i dont regret it. i just get more concious of the plane going down or me jumping out of it and being scared silly everytime im on it... i hate turbilience.
