“Tonight I light a pair of candles in honor of the God. He is wild and fertile and tonight, we honor him as the Horned one.”
HM will light the White candle in the center and say:
“This candle is lit for hearth and home. The mother and father, the lord and lady will watch over us tonight and every night.”
HPS/HP will share the reason for Ritual
HPS: Samhain is hear and it is a time for transitions and rebirth
HP: The Winter approaches and we prepare for the darkness.
HPS: This is the time for the Dark Mother. A time of dying and remembrance.
HP: This is the night of our Ancestors and of those that have passed on from this life.
HM/SG approach the Altar
SG will light the Black Candle and say:
The wheel of the year turns again and we cycle now into darkness
HM will light the white candle and say:
At the end of the darkness comes the light. And when it arrives we will celebrate once again.
HM and SG and one volunteer will each hand out ribbons (taking for themselves too). One each of Black, White and Red.
HPS will proceed to explain the Ribbon exercise.
“The three ribbons you hold in your hand each have significance. The Black is for death, the White for life and the Red is for rebirth. We will bind these ribbons together while remembering those that we have lost and that everything that is born must die only to be re-born again. When you are done, join us in chant and put your energy into the ribbon. Place it on your personal altar or space in remembrance of passed love ones.”
The Coven will start the “We all come from the Goddess Chant”
*insert Chant here*

Looks good, Amber. Personally, I'd use Cerridwen instead of Hecate, but that's me.
-
I think it looks like a great ritual. :D I would be a little uncomfortable with mixing pantheons but if it works for you, that's cool.
-
Thanks. I meditated on the Lord/Lady and those two came to me. We have used them together before and it worked quite well so maybe thats why they wanted to join us.
-
Hecate has survived so long in many different forms, I don't think that she will mind. She is one of the few pagan Goddesses who was rumored to still be worshipped, if only by sorcerers and witches, through the Christian era in Europe.
-
It all sounds wonderful, and mixing of the deities can also provide a lively ritual energy. Well Done.
-
Thanks!
Tonight is the night :omg:
This morning it all started going wrong and I was about to say screw it and cancel LOL. but I sweet talked and its all working out again now
-
I hope the ritual goes well. :D
