Just got back from the New Castle Correctional Facility Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. After a number of speeches by offenders about the difference volunteers make in their lives, they brought out a magnificent quilt they had spent the last six months making, and the Volunteer Coordinator said they wanted to award it to the volunteer of the year... and called my name. Then a roomful of Christians- most of them Evangelicals- gave a standing ovation to a Pagan, differences in dogma forgotten in the comradely warmth of people facing the same challenges.
And people ask why I do this.

Well, that says something about the energy attached to it. :D

That definitely goes to show what kind of people you are working with - an accepting, loving group of people that have no problem appreciating others not for their faith, but for their contributions! Congratulations! Hopefully the cats will share 'their' quilt with you.

Mina, that font is a bit hard to read
-
A bit of an understatement. :)
We get that the smilies an effects can be fun, but please folks, do not use effects/colors that will cause someone to get a headache when they read it. ;)
