Title: Underwear recycling?

So I finally feel like I'm ready to clean out a dresser drawer, and was wondering if anyone knew of any sources that would take used cotton underwear and recycle it somehow? I don't want to just throw it in the garbage to go to a landfill, and I really don't want to use any of the "traditional in-home recycling" ideas with my late husband's underwear.

Open to suggestions. Thanks.

I'd bet it would be hard to find cotton recycling companies in Texas...

I know it sounds gross, but I think Goodwill takes them - or perhaps some homeless shelter charity.

I'd be happy to ship them if there is a cotton recycling company somewhere in the US... :(
