It was the photo taken during the Apollo 17.mission. The last one, unfortunately. Damn politicians!

Wasn't that the song from "Big Blue Marble"? That kids show that ran in the mid 70's? That was either the theme song or the ending credits song wasn't it?

I actually had two pen pals via that show. I still write to the girl in New Zealand. Wonder what happened to the gal in Trinidad.....
