I have a new job. It's seasonal with a tax company as a receptionist, but I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Hey, it's a start and IMO it's a dang sight better job than flipping burgers!

Congratulations on your new job! :yeah: The Goddess of Transformation has moved in both our lives job wise. Remember that everyone who comes in might be so impressed with your positive attitude that they might think of you for another position when this job is through.

It's going good. My main job is setting up files for tax preparers, filing, answering phones...receptionist duties. I like it. But it is tiring getting up...however, I have a job and I appreciate it.

Well my new job is over with...it was temporary and everything there was slow. I got a pay check of about 419.00 which was nice. I have to look for another job, but I do appreciate this temp job. Please pray for me again. I'm not depressed or anything, because I learned something. I might see if the VA is hiring for switchboard operators. Hmmm....

Keep looking! Does your state have a Job Center set up with on-line postings and other help?

Keep looking hun!  Check other tax offices around too!  Its gonna get slammed soon because people are ready to file!

I'm a switchboard operator so its not a hard job..little stressfull at times but its easy.  check your local hospitals or even car dealorships too
