As the title suggests, if you could choose 1 god or goddess, or even a like being, to meet in physical form, who would you choose? Other than your own, I mean.

I'm just asking out of pure curiosity. I just came up with this question and thought it would make an interesting thread.

For me, personally, I would like to meet Quetzalcoatl. Aztec god of light, justice, wind, knowledge, the arts, and maize. He sounds like he would be a very interesting person to speak to, what with his unique experiences and vast knowledge.

Since you are talking physical form, I guess I would choose to meet the most beautiful Norse god Baldr or perhaps Lucifer before the fall.

Baldr would be pretty cool to meet! If I met him, I would ask him about how he really gets along with Loki. As for Lucifer...well, he's an interesting case. I would ask him why he feels so much contempt for humans.

Wait...are you just picking these two because their renowned for being extremely handsome? XD

Pan for me, we would take a nice hike through the woods. Maybe Coyote the trickster to ask him why he likes to mess with me. :D

I'd like to meet Gautama Buddha, both before and after his enlightenment.

I'd love to meet some of the demi-Gods/Half-Gods...I would find it fascinating to talk about their experiences of being neither here nor there.

I'd also want to meet Isis someday.

Other than my own? Tyr comes first to my mind, because his story intrigued me when I was younger. That he would be willing to put his hand in Fenrir's mouth, knowing what was likely to happen, just struck a chord with me. Someone who does what needs to be done.

Having Themis and Nemesis at the same dinner could be intriguing. Divine Justice and Divine Retribution could make for some interesting conversation.

Freja or Artemis.

I was going to say Hekate but something tells me she may not be much of a conversationalist...

Just to say "HI" in a physical form?
I would say Anki. A Creator from the cosmology of Sumer. A truly non-corporeal deity in every sense of the phrase. I would love to see and touch what cannot be seen or touched.
Deity like Anki, El, and even the Christian "God" are termed air deities. They exist in spirit only forms without physical attributes at all. They are said to be male, female, neuter, all and none at the same time. Most religions began with an "Air God" but the human nature of anthropomorphizing of deity gradually does away with the original "Air Gods" in favor of more human like gods with limits and bodies.

I have no idea what form It would take but it would be something that one would remember forever.

Umm... I have not learned much about the deities yet so my answer might sound a little limited. But for me it's Venus and Athena. Also, going off from the topic of deities alone; if I could meet a personification of Earth, it would be great. It's my element and it'd feel like home if I could talk to her.
