Has anyone haerd of this site?
« on: January 19, 2013, 04:37:54 AM »

I came upon this place because there's a thread about "All ghost hunters will burn in Hell" I was insulted because I have seen spirit since I was born.

It's called "Landover Baptist Church"

I find it very offensive. I would never raise my kids the way those maniacs have quoted.

This was brought up to the Ghost Adventures community a while back.

As Dragonspring mentioned, it's a joke.  If that sort of humor offends, perhaps it is best to stay off that site. ;)

Landover Baptist is a humor/parody site that pokes not so gentle fun at a lot of the more...intolerant religions by being a grossly over the top version of what they themselves are.

Besides...there is no serious religious intolerance site that would sell a "What would Jesus Do" woman's thong.

It's tasteless humor for some, serious satire for others. Me? It's funny to read occasionally to see how they're mocking the latest intolerance crap that [intolerant jerkwad sect of the week] has to say.

I sneaked in when no one was looking put a link on the computer of a very self righteous Baptist minister I work with, to this joke church, he did not think it was funny.... I on the other hand thought it was hysterical.

Poe's Law amuses me. LBC have always provoked "cannot tell if trolling or serious" in many people.
