I seem to be having some issues accessing certain threads today. I've been notified that I'm not the only one. I am looking into the issue to see if I can figure out what is going on. If you could post here if you are having problems and the threads in question that would help me to figure out what is going on.

I managed to get the database back up to where it was before I messed it up. I think I lost a couple of posts in the process. I still don't know what the problem is at the moment, but I am working on it.

I think I have a fix for it, but I need to make sure I have all the threads that are having issues. I know mine should be working now (the one not labeled "Fix"). Anyone having problems with Bron's journal?

I cant access Bronwyn's journal at all.

All the rest I can, if I click on the last page number.
The site grinds to a halt, if I click on the journal name, and try to load the whole journal.

I've split off the last two posts in the "What's for Dinner" thread and I seem to be able to access those, but not the main thread, which is exactly the opposite of what worked for my journal. Weird.

Please keep me updated of any other problems!

All of the threads in question seem to be working again. I've merged the topics I split and they all appear normal. Please let me know if anyone sees any other problems.

Just an FYI ... all of the journal threads are taking forever to load. Even old threads that haven't been updated in months.

It seems the problem isn't fixed at all. I do seem to be able to get into the threads if I let it sit for 5 minutes. I'm still trying to get my host to tell me if they can figure out what is going on because as of right now, I'm at a loss.

Didn't get much help from the host. I'm still trying to figure all of this out. I'm so sorry we are having these problems. It does look like the posts (at least this one anyway) does eventually load. I haven't checked all of them yet.

There is some lag, but only by about 4 seconds. No posts are missing or anything though.

Lucky you! Some of these are taking well over a minute to load for me.

I really would like to get some more input from other users so I can get a better idea of what is going on here. Please let me know what you are seeing and where.

I am in the process of turning on and off certain features here to see if I can find something to give me a starting place for the problems. If you see something disappear, like signatures or avatars, that is why.

Okay, so the weirdness just keeps on coming. I've been in several threads in the last few minutes (after having been gone for a little while) and they all look to be loading pretty normal. Anyone seeing any problems at the moment?

Everything seems to still be working okay at the moment, so I've turned the signatures back on. Please let me know if you see any more problems.

Thanks for keeping me updated. I'm heading to bed soon, so just post a list if you start to find some issues and I'll look into them more in the morning.
